• Beautification Day is ongoing! Help us spread mulch along the south side/carpool lane of campus until that pile of mulch is gone!

• MAY-JUNE: Conn's Alphabet Adventure! Check Conn ES' website for details (5/6 is Z-Zoo day; wear your favorite animal print or bring a small stuffed animal) 

• Friday, May 1, 10a-3p: NCAE's Kids Over Corporations Rally! Join PTA's Advocacy Team and teachers across NC at Halifax Mall to end corporate tax breaks and invest in public school classrooms! Text Michelle at 901-218-5021 to carpool!

• Monday, May 4 - Friday, May 8: Teacher Appreciation Week! Learn about all the ways to celebrate our "out of this world staff" here. Donate to PTA's GiftCrowd (all $$ will be shared evenly among teachers and staff) here.

• May 4-10, 1-6p M-F or 10a-6p S-S: LetterLand Days at Pullen Park! Meet Clever Cat, Annie Apple, and Bouncy Ben during Letterland Activities Nights and see all the cutouts at the park!

• Thursday, May 7, 4:30-5:30p: e-Bike Bonanza! Check out and learn about cargo bikes and e-bikes with other Conn families! Fill out this form to show off your e-bike! 

• Thursday, May 7, 7p: PTA General Membership Meeting @ location TBD! Join a committee (this is a great way to get started) or serve as a committee chair here! 

• Thursday, May 14, 4:15-6:15p: CONNival! Sign up here for a 1hr volunteer shift and/or sign up your student to sell an item to this year's CONNtrepreneur market. 

• Tuesday, May 19, 7p: PTA General Membership Meeting! Join us in the Conn ES Media Center to nominate our nexy board and leadership team! Self-nominations are encouraged

• Thursday, May 28, 2:45-3:15p: High School Senior Clap Out

• Friday, May 29 and Tuesday, June 2: EOG Lunch Delivery! Volunteers will take the bag lunches from the cafeteria and deliver them to the classrooms. Super Easy and Quick! Sign up to volunteer! 

• Sunday, May 31, 4:30-6:30p: Mordecai's Bluegrass on the Lawn! Enjoy free bluegrass by the Kudzu Ramblers and meet your Conn neighbors at the Mordecai historic park! 

• Thursday, June 11: 5th Grade vs. Staff Kickball Game

Lunch Volunteers Needed! Sign up for a lunch time slot. Note: You must be WCPSS approved and have completed Conn's volunteer training

• Do you have a kindergartner? Stay CONNected to other parents here!

•  Join Conn PTA or renew your membership to support PTA programming! The "Family membership" ensures two guardians receive communications from PTA. 

• Register as a volunteer with WCPSS for 2025/2026 to get involved on campus. Before volunteering at Conn, you must have completed a virtual Conn ES training.
